Ahron Friedberg, M.D

Dr. Friedberg is Clinical Professor in Psychiatry, Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is Editor of The Academy Forum, American Academy of Psychodynamic Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis, and Book Editor, Psychodynamic Psychiatry. He is also Co-Chair, International Council of Editors of Psychoanalytic Journals. His research interests focus on translational neuroscience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD and other clinical disorders. Dr. Friedberg is Director, Symposium Series. His recent books include Two Minds in a Mirror: Psychotherapy and Personal Change and Through a Screen Darkly: Psychoanalytic Reflections During the Pandemic. He is a regular contributor to Psychology Today  and to several academic journals.

Tania Eshaghoff-Friedberg

Tania Eshaghoff-Friedberg is the President of Friedberg Property Management. She is an accomplished pianist and composer, with a special interest on Persian, classical music. She is also a former secondary education teacher in the sciences, and the mother of three beautiful children.

Sandra Sherman, J.D., Ph.D

Sandra Sherman, J.D., Ph.D., is a lawyer and former professor of English. She is the author of four books on 18th century literature and culture, and co-author of several books on neuroscience. She worked with Dr. Friedberg on Psychotherapy and Personal Change: Two Minds in a Mirror and Through a Screen Darkly: Psychoanalytic Reflections on the Pandemic.
